Snipers to wrap up regular season with weekend games

That’s because the head coach of the Six Nations Snipers, members of the Arena Lacrosse League (ALL), still has to prepare his charges for a pair of matches, this Saturday and Sunday, that will put a wrap on the team’s regular season. The Snipers, however, will enter the weekend knowing they have already clinched first place in their seven-team league. The Six Nations squad guaranteed itself a first-place finish, and an opening-round playoff bye, by defeating the Peterborough Timbermen 18-7 in a contest staged this past Sunday at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena (ILA) in Hagersville.
