Young offender charged in robbery at local store

SIX NATIONS OF THE GRAND-Six Nations Police have charged a young offender with Robbery, Theft and under $5000 after a Highway 54 store was robbed Saturday March 26. Police said a man entered the business brandished an edged weapon at a clerk at about 7:35 a.m.. The clerk provided a description of the suspect and vehicle believed involved. Police said the victim said there were two suspects two suspects. One of the men brandished an edged weapon and demanded cash. The suspect left in the a vehicle. As a result of investigation police charged a young offender with Robbery, Theft Under $5,000, and Fail to Comply with a Release Order under the Youth Criminal Justice Act. The accused was held for formal bail hearing….
