Snipers hosting and hoping to win ALL championship this weekend

By Sam Laskaris Writer The 2022 Arena Lacrosse League (ALL) champions will be crowned this Sunday at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena (ILA). And members of the host Six Nations Snipers are hoping they will be the ones hoisting the league’s championship trophy on Sunday afternoon at the Hagersville facility. The ILA will also be the site of the two ALL semi-final matches on Saturday afternoon. For starters, a pair of Durham Region rivals, the Oshawa Outlaws and Whitby Steelhawks, will square off in a 1 p.m. contest. The Snipers will then battle the St. Catharines Shockwave in the other semi-final, which is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. The two squads that emerge victorious on Saturday will then advance to the championship final on Sunday.
