Gae Yohs Health Centre dental offices have a new look.

By Victoria Gray Writer Gane Yohs Health Centre and its dental office have a fresh new look to help put children at ease. Members of the community, health services and the Smilezone Foundation unveiled the updates facility on April 19th at its Chiefswood Road location. Councillor Nathan Wright, who stood in for Elected Chief Mark Hill said when he was a child visiting the dental clinic in the 80s he was afraid. “Not because of the dentist, but because of the atmosphere. It was so drab in here.” A $100,000 donation from the Smilezone Foundation helped fix that with a fresh and colour coats of paint, new furniture with storage, murals by Arnold Jacobs depicting Six Nations culture, iPads and more.
