By Victoria Gray Writer Six Nations Public Works is using a controversial contract to save money at the water treatment plant. Director of Public Works Mike Montour told councillors revenue from a tree trimming contract from Hydro Ont was going to fund the installation of a natural gas heating system at the water treatment plant at the Business and Infrastructure Committee meeting on April 13. “With revenue from the Hydro One contract we were able to combat higher operations and maintenance costs from heating that building by getting natural gas heat in there,” Montour said.
