Rivermen remain undefeated following two lopsided wins

By Sam Laskaris Writer The Six Nations Rivermen were able to rack up back-to-back victories without much of a fight. Well, their opponents were giving it their all this past Friday and Saturday. But there just weren’t too many of them. For starters, the Rivermen travelled to Oshawa on Friday to square off against the Merchants Lacrosse Club. Because many of their players were either nursing injuries or were still in the United States finishing off their collegiate seasons, the Merchants only dressed nine runners and two goalies for the game. Not surprisingly the Rivermen, who had their maximum allotment of 20 players suit up for the match, registered a convincing 16-5 Ontario Series Lacrosse (OSL) win.
