Six Nations man arrested in Brantford trailer theft

A Six Nations man has been charged in connection with the theft of a trailer stolen from an Icomm Drive parking lot in Brantford Monday, May 16th at about 6:30 a.m. Brantford police, with assistance of Six Nations Police Service, arrested a man and recovered one stolen trailer. Police aid they located the trailer the same day it was stolen, around 1:20 p.m. at a Sour Springs Road property. A search warrant was executed and the trailer was recovered. As a result of the investigation, Matthew Cowan, 25, of Ohsweken was charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000. Police said their investigation also found between Monday, April 12, and Monday, May 16, there were 19 trailer thefts in Brantford.
