Six Nations has celebrated the 156th anniversary of an event, which while seemingly insignificant by its name “Bread and Cheese” is monumental in its significance. The annual event isn’t just a chance to visit with friends and family and get something to munch on. Although it is a lot of fun! For many, mostly it would seem of the Facebook generation, there is either no real understanding of what the event is all about or are more interested in rage politics than the significance of Haudenosaunee history and identity it represents.
