Rivermen require overtime to defeat host James Gang

The local squad was trailing the host Ennismore James Gang 10-7 heading into the third period of its Ontario Series Lacrosse (OSL) contest. With their undefeated record in jeopardy, the Rivermen rallied to pull out a victory. But they required some overtime to do so. By outscoring Ennismore 4-1 in the third period, Six Nations and the James Gang found themselves deadlocked at 11-11 after regulation action. Thus, a full 10-minute OT session was needed to decide this affair. The Rivermen kept their winning streak alive by outscoring Ennismore 4-1 in the extra period, pulling out a 15-12 victory.
