Cougar spotted at Six Nations

By Bree Duwyn Writer Six Nations Police received a report about a possible cougar sighting in the driveway of a residence on Chiefswood Road on Monday June 27th at 6:46 p.m. The London Communications Centre received an animal complaint, who then reported the incident to police. When police arrived to speak with the reporting individual, they described the sighted animal as being black in colour with a long tail. The individual then said they witnessed the animal flee into the bush towards Second Line Road. Police have notified Six Nations Animal Control and are actively investigating with the help of the Ministry of Natural Resources, according to a media release.
