Two Rivermen goalies sign pro contracts with National Lacrosse League squads

By Sam Laskaris Writer Six Nations Rivermen goaltenders Dusty Hill and Troy Holowchuk will both have an opportunity to prove themselves in the pro ranks. It was announced this past week that both Hill and Holowchuk have inked contracts with National Lacrosse League (NLL) squads. Hill signed on with the Georgia Swarm while Holowchuk agreed to a three-year deal with the Toronto Rock. Hill’s chances of cracking the Swarm lineup are enhanced by the recent announcement that star Georgia goaltender Mike Poulin has retired. “Deeply flattered by the Georgia Swarm for reaching out to me,” Hill said. “I can’t wait for training camp and to meet the team and coaches.” Hill has been the Number 1 goaltender for the Rivermen this season.
