Six Nations players among those that capture world under-16 lacrosse title

By Sam Laskaris Writer Warren Cook once again managed to become a world champion. But the second time around was considerably more significant for the Six Nations teen. Cook was one of nine players from the Six Nations Minor Lacrosse system that competed for the Haudenosaunee Dehontsigwaehs Under-16 boys box lacrosse squad this weekend. The team ended up winning the gold medal at the International Indoor Junior Lacrosse (IIJL) championship held in Cattaraugus, N.Y. The Haudenosaunee side defeated Canada 12-9 in the gold-medal match, which was held on Monday afternoon.
