Two Brantford men facing child pornography related charges

BRANTFORD, ONT-Two city men are facing child pornography charges after a Brantford Police ICE Unit (Internet Child Exploitation) raided two separate city residences and seized  several electronic devices.

The Brantford Police Service (BPS) said a search warrant was executed Sept 1 .

and as a result  a 36-year-old Brantford man was arrested and charged with:

  • Access Child Pornography
  • Possession of Child Pornography
  • Failure to Comply Judicial Release
  • Invitation to Sexual Touching
  • Luring – person under 16 years old

A separate search warrant was executed on Sept. 2 where a number of electronic devises were seized and a 29-year-old man from Brantford was arrested and faces charges of:

  • Possession of Child Pornography
  • Make Child Pornography available
  • Sexual Assault
  • Invitation to Sexual Touching
  • Sexual Interference


The names of the accused will not be released in order to protect the identity of the victims.

Police said the investigations were “furthered” as a result of information received from members of the public. Detective Michael Korda said he would like to thank those members of the public that came forward to report these incidents.

Brantford Police Chief Robert Davis  said “With the dedication of the Brantford Police Service ICE Unit detectives, our service is committed to ensure those most vulnerable members of our community, our children, are protected. The seriousness of these crimes demands our attention.”
