Developer seeking permanent injunction at 1492 Landback lane By Lynda Powless Editor CAYUGA, ONT- 1492 Land defender Skylar Williams fight for Haudenosaunee land rights travelled from the land to the court room last week in a battle that comes down to who really owns the land. Williams is fighting an injunction by Foxgate Developments over a 25 acre parcel that could see as many as 218 detached homes and townhouses built on farm lands within the Haldimand Treaty tract and right next door to his home community of Six Nations.
