Sydney Daniels ‘opening up the doors’ for Indigenous women in hockey

On Wednesday, the 27-year-old joined the Winnipeg Jets as a college scout _ making her the first First Nations woman from Treaty 6 territory to be added to the Jets’ operations team. “It’s been a dream,’’ she said. “I feel like I’ve been dreaming for the last week.
