Haudenosaunee Nationals to participate in Super Sixes tournament in Oshawa

By Sam Laskaris Writer The Haudenosaunee Nationals will gain some more valuable experience this week at the World Lacrosse Super Sixes tournament in Oshawa. Three clubs will participate in the event, which features athletes playing six players per team on a condensed lacrosse field. The Haudenosaunee Nationals’ 15-player roster includes three Six Nations players. They are sisters Timmia and Tiana Bomberry and Fawn Porter. The Haudenosaunee Nationals will play their final round-robin contest at 10 a.m. on Sunday against England. Canada and England will also be represented by clubs in the event, which begins on Friday and continues until Sunday. All matches will be staged at the Civic Stadium Field in Oshawa.
