Four Six Nations people face drug and firearm charges

SIX NATIONS OF THE GRAND-Four Six Nations people are facing a series of drug, firearm and possession of stolen property charges after Six Nations Police raided a Cayuga Road residence near I.L Thomas School on Wednesday (Oct. 5).

After executing a Section 11 Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at the residence Six Nations police said they found a loaded firearm inside a trailer, a woman and a combative man who were actively resisting arrest, according to a media release issued on Thursday, Oct. 6.

Police then located another man and woman, discovering an additional firearm at the residence.

During the search, police seized two firearms, a crossbow, ammunition, body armour, cocaine, methamphetamine, currency, cell phones, a digital scale, and stolen property.

The following were arrested and face charges:

Brett Elgin Elliott Sr., 53, of Ohsweken, was charged with:

CDSA 5(2) Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – cocaine
CDSA 5(2) Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – methamphetamine
CDSA 5(2) Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – methadone
CC 86(1) Firearm, Weapon, Ammunition: Careless Use (two counts)
CC 91(1) Firearm: Unauthorized Possession
CC 91(2) Weapon: Unauthorized Possession
CC 92(1) Firearm: Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession
CC 92(2) Weapon: Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession
CC 108 Firearm: Tampering with Serial Number
CC 117.01(1) Firearm or Weapon: Possession Contrary to Prohibition Order (three counts)
CC 270(1)(b) Assault with Intent to Resist Arrest (two counts)
CC 354(1) Proceeds of Crime Under $5,000
CC 354(1) Possession of Stolen Property Under $5,000

Nancy Grace Ladouceur, 55, of Ohsweken, was charged with:

CDSA 5(2) Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – cocaine
CDSA 5(2) Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – methamphetamine
CDSA 5(2) Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – methadone
CC 86(1) Firearm, Weapon, Ammunition: Careless Use (two counts)
CC 91(1) Firearm: Unauthorized Possession
CC 91(2) Weapon: Unauthorized Possession
CC 108 Firearm: Tampering with Serial Number
CC 345(1) Proceeds of Crime under $5,000
CC 354(1) Possession of Stolen Property under $5,000
CC 733.1(1) Breach of Probation

Luella Shalise Elliott-Doxtador, 26, of Ohsweken was charged with:

CC 86(1) Firearm, Weapon, Ammunition: Careless Use
CC 91(1) Firearm: Unauthorized Possession
CC 91(2) Weapon: Unauthorized Possession
CC 145(5)(a) Fail to Comply with Release Order – Other than to Attend Court (three counts)
CC 354(1) Possession of Stolen Property under $5,000

Dillon James Miller, 32, of Ohsweken was charged with:

CC 86(1) Firearm, Weapon, Ammunition: Careless Use
CC 91(1) Firearm: Unauthorized Possession
CC 91(2) Weapon: Unauthorized Possession
CC 92(1) Firearm: Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession
CC 92(2) Weapon: Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession
CC 145(5)(a) Fail to Comply with Release Order – Other than to Attend Court (four counts)
CC 354(1) Possession of Stolen Property under $5,000
CC 117.01(1) Firearm or Weapon: Possession contrary to Prohibition Order (two counts)

All of the accused were held for a formal bail hearing.
