Snipers and Bears lose players in Arena Lacrosse League expansion draft

By Sam Laskaris Writer The roster of the Brampton Express, an expansion franchise in the Arena Lacrosse League (ALL) East Division, has begun to take shape. But that has come at the expense of the defending league champion Six Nations Snipers, the recently renamed Ohsweken Bears and the five other franchises in the Ontario-based circuit. The Express was allowed to select 21 players in the league’s expansion draft held on Sunday. The Brampton club chose three players from each of the seven other ALL East Division squads. The Express then made a handful of trades, including players it had just acquired via the expansion draft.
