And as in previous years, there will be plenty of individuals with Six Nations connections, sprinkled throughout the rosters of teams in the world’s best box lacrosse circuit. Twelve of the league’s 15 teams will be playing during the opening week. Action kicks off on Friday when the Halifax Thunderbirds, owned by Six Nations businessman Curt Styres, will host the Philadelphia Wings. That contest will be the lone NLL match on Friday night.
