BRANTFORD,ONT-Three charges of accessory to murder after the fact have been withdrawn against a Six Nations man in the brutal murder of three people four years ago. In a case that still sends ripples through the community the Brant Crown Attorney’s office confirmed last week charges against Vernon Shipman, 37, were withdrawn in Superior Court Nov., 24th after several delays in the trial that had been set for April 2021. The crown attorney’s office confirmed to Turtle Island News the charges had been withdrawn.
