But the Six Nations Snipers, who kick off their 2022-23 campaign on the road this Saturday in Oshawa, will have a new look. That’s because perhaps only seven individuals from the Snipers’ championship squad will be returning to the squad this season. Several players who had key roles with the Snipers this past season have chosen to take their talents to the new Professional Box Lacrosse Association (PBLA), a nine-team circuit that commences its inaugural campaign later this month. “I understand guys are getting paid to play so it makes sense to a player’s mind to go there,” said Darcy Powless, who doubles as the head coach and general manager of the Snipers….
