And, as usual, Six Nations members had their share of athletic glory at the local, provincial, national and even international levels during the past 12 months. In last week’s print edition (Dec. 21) of The Turtle Island News, we began a two-part series, taking a closer look at some of the local athletes and sporting events that made headlines during the past year.
