January 5, 2022 Six Nations Schools close, COVID Vaccination Centre re-opens The Six Nations vaccination centre at Dajoh Youth and Elder Center reopened its doors on January 4 after a COVID-19 exposure in late December forced it to shut down operations over the holidays. The centre continues to offer vaccines on a walk-in basis for persons aged 12 and over. Six nations schools remain closed. City of Brantford install concrete barrier at former Arrowdale golf course land defenders leave site On the morning of New Year’s Day, the city of Brantford erected concrete barricades at Arrowdale shortly after Six Nations land defenders withdrew nonviolently from their demonstration post at the site, with the understanding that the issue would be settled in court.
