Time for optimism

It has been a rough two years. With a brand-new year upon us in the shadow of two difficult (is putting it mildly) years we may not be ready to simply say 2023 is going to be the best year ever. We have, together, faced a number of setbacks in the past two years. Faced untold personal pain as COVID-19 hit, learned to live in a world gone strange and did it with strength and support from each other and faced a year coming to an end with fear as a manhunt kept Six Nations and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nations on alert, locked in their homes, waiting for the all clear An OPP officer was shot and killed and our hearts go out to his family.
