One can’t help but respond with seriously you didn’t notice you had money left over? Billions of dollars meant for services for Canadians but in that is $5.6 billion dollars meant for Indigenous services as well as land right settlements and others. Money now sitting somewhere in government coffers that was meant for services to Indigenous communities and the government’s failure to come to settlement terms with Indigenous leaders on a number of outstanding issues from land claims to “childhood litigations’ or more poignantly put, residential school settlements.
