Six Nations Elected Council (SNEC) wants to help bring the community together to aid in the healing that process with the Community Healing Event at the Community Hall on February 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Elected Chief Mark Hill’s office and community members organized the event after the community suffered many tragic losses throughout the holiday season. “In all of the sadness and tragedy, it’s been a lot and I think our community is going through, over the last couple years, as well as just recently, a lot,” he said. “This is the first of many events we want to do.
