Snipers even record at .500 with victory over Monarchs

By Sam Laskaris Writer Justin Porga picked an opportune time to score a goal which completed his first Arena Lacrosse League (ALL) hat trick. Porga’s third goal of the contest proved to be the game-winning goal as the Six Nations Snipers edged the Paris RiverWolves 11-10 in an ALL match staged at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena (ILA) at Six Nations on Sunday. Porga, who lives in Welland, is a rookie with the Snipers. The Six Nations squad had selected him in the first round of the ALL draft this past November. Porga and his teammates had a bit of a lengthy wait to see if his third goal on Sunday would indeed stand as the game-winning tally. The goal came with more than four minutes remaining in the fourth quarter….
