By Sam Laskaris Writer Local youth lacrosse players will have the opportunity to win a provincial championship close to home. And perhaps more importantly, while showcasing their skills locally, they will have a chance to be recognized and potentially earn a spot to represent the province at this year’s North American Indigenous Games (NAIG). The inaugural Ontario Native Lacrosse Invitational (ONLI) will begin on Mar. 31 and run until Apr. 2 at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena in Hagersville. The event will feature youth, both girls and boys, aged 13-19. The tournament will feature three age groupings.
