By Sam Laskaris Writer Local lacrosse fans will have plenty of familiar faces to cheer on at this year’s world men’s field lacrosse championships. The Haudenosaunee Nationals announced their 23-player roster this past week for the world tournament, which begins June 21 and continues until July 1 in San Diego, Calif. Six Nations members named to the club were brothers Austin and Randy Staats, Jerry Staats, Tehoka Nanticoke, Brendan Bomberry, Blake Gibson-McDonald, Oakley Thomas and Warren Hill. Also, brothers Lyle and Jeremy Thompson, who are not Six Nations members but are currently living in Ohsweken, were also named to the team. The Haudenosaunee squad also has a pair of Six Nations members – Darcy Powless and Vince Longboat – who will serve as the general manager and assistant coach, respectively….
