Six Nations Rebels dominate at pre-season tournament

By Sam Laskaris Writer Early indications are the Six Nations Rebels will have a much more successful campaign this year. The Rebels, a Junior B lacrosse squad, finished a hair above the .500 mark last season, posting a 10-9-1 record. The Six Nations club was then swept 3-0 in its best-of-five opening playoff series by the Hamilton Bengals. As for this year, the Rebels kicked off their pre-season schedule this past Saturday by participating at a tournament in Brampton. The Six Nations club won all three of its matches at that event, collectively outscoring its opponents 32-11. The Rebels thumped the Newmarket Saints 11-2 in their opener.
