Bomberry named MVP of McMaster University softball squad

By Sam Laskaris Writer Despite a brief initial hesitation, Angelina Bomberry has been in love for quite some time now with softball. And the 22-year-old Six Nations member is quite good at the sport. In fact, she was named as the most valuable player for the McMaster University women’s softball team during the school’s year-end athletic awards banquet held Apr. 4. Bomberry was understandably thrilled to win the MVP accolade. “I always give 110 per cent while playing and training,” she said. “I always make sure to bring a good attitude prior to, during, and after the game. I enjoy supporting my teammates during every play. I always keep a cool attitude when representing my team and school because you never know who is watching you.” Bomberry can also chuckle…
