And it also cost the local squad the opportunity to win back-to-back Arena Lacrosse League (ALL) championships. The Snipers, who had captured the 2022 ALL East Division crown, were downed 19-13 by the Toronto Monarchs in a league semi-final match. The contest was staged at the Toronto Rock Athletic Centre (TRAC) in Oakville. While the Snipers’ season came to an end with that loss, the Monarchs went on to defeat the Brampton Express 10-8 in the league’s championship final, held Saturday, also at the TRAC.
