Montour and Florida teammates to face McDavid-led Edmonton Oilers in Stanley Cup final

By Sam Laskaris Writer For the second straight year Six Nations hockey fans will be cheering on one of their own in the Stanley Cup finals. Local fans, however, will be hoping that Brandon Montour and his Florida Panthers’ teammates will have a more favourable ending this time around. The Panthers were downed by the Vegas Golden Knights 4-1 in last year’s best-of-seven Stanley Cup championship series. The Florida squad is now gearing up for this year’s final. The Panthers will square off against the Edmonton Oilers in a best-of-seven series. Game 1 is set for this Saturday in Florida. “Guys are excited to start this again,” Montour said at a Monday afternoon press conference as he provided thoughts ahead of the National Hockey League’s championship series.
