For us here at Turtle Island News it will be the 33rd budget since we launched the newspaper. A local band budget that went from $1 million to today’s $30 million plus. At least, it would be $30 million if the band didn’t dump the community’s own source revenues on it to bring it down to what it thinks the community will accept .
