On Nov. 28 federal and Inuit representatives from Nunatsiavut \u00a0Government and Makivvik\u2014the legal corporate entity for Inuit in \u00a0Quebec\u2014signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) that could lead to the \u00a0official designation of up to 17,000 square kilometres of Nunatsiavut\u2019s \u00a0coastal and marine waters.
