Elected Chief Sherri-Lyn Hill, in an update to SNEC said she spent February giving speeches and attending presentations. During the March 11th General Council meeting, she highlighted three youth initiatives including the Community Treasures. Hill served as the master of ceremonies at the awards banquet on February 8 at the Gathering Place. The awards recognized 25 high school students from various high schools who have achieved grade averages between 81.33 per cent and 97.76 per cent.
