As of Dec. 4, a new State of Emergency has been announced due to the toxic drug crisis. S\u1e35wx\u0331w\u00fa7mesh \u00daxwumixw (Squamish Nation) council declared the emergency as a response to the ongoing toxic drug crisis, and its disproportionate impact on Indigenous people, families and communities.
