That list also included championship golfer John Monture Jr., former Six Nation chief Ava Hill who has been named to Hockey Canada\u2019s Indigenous Advisory Circle, Cory Bomberry who was inducted into Canada\u2019s lacrosse hall of fame and the Six Nations Ironmen hockey squad. Several other local athletes also had their share of accomplishments during the past 12 months. A closer look at five others who made headlines follows.
