Breaking the Silence is intended so that \u201cM\u00e9tis men and boys can have a safe place to share their feelings and experiences,\u201d explained Nelson Lussier, the Otipemisiwak M\u00e9tis Government\u2019s secretary for justice. Lussier told Alberta Native News that the initiative aligns with Canada\u2019s National Plan to End Gender-based Violence.
