Sarah Noganosh, director of lands, resources and environment at Magnetawan First Nation, emphasized the importance of the day for Indigenous communities. \u201cBy having an annual Earth Day event,\u201d Noganosh said, \u201cwe foster relationships with the land and our community members. We also support animals, plants and waterways by cleaning up pollution such as litter.
