The forum takes place in T\u00f3rshavn, Denmark, and runs from May 26 to 29. \u201cThe land means a lot to us. Back in the day, our ancestors used the stars to make sure they didn\u2019t get lost and the trees for heat,\u201d York said in an interview ahead of the conference. \u201cWe respect the land like it\u2019s a person.\u201d Nunaapivut… <\/p>\n
