Jennifer Leason, from the Minegoziibe Anishinabe-Pine Creek First Nation, paid a visit to Lethbridge to talk with elementary students about her award-winning book Hummingbird Aamo-binashee, followed by a book signing at Analog Books. The book, both written and illustrated by Leason, was written in honour of her mother in 2013 and is her second published work \u2014 each in both English and Anishinaabemowin.
