The John Snake Memorial Multi-Purpose Community Grounds, he said, were full on Saturday. He estimates there were nearly 5,000 people gathered to enjoy the festivities at Rama First Nation on the first day of the two-day event. Even as rains continued Sunday, the crowds poured into Rama. As one of the powwow\u2019s lead organizers, Simcoe has been part of the event for over four decades.
