Alison Struth, an advisor with L\u2019noqom (Greenwood) Education, says students will be treated to a performance of New Blood: A Story of Reconciliation. The story is based on the life of Chief Vincent Yellow Old Woman and his experiences in residential schools. The performance will also include music written by the co-founder of the rock band Genesis, Peter Gabriel. \u201cHis story is told through poetry, dance, and music, blending traditional Blackfoot music with Peter Gabriel\u2019s contemporary music,\u201d says Struth in an email interview.
