Chief Melanie Norwegian Menacho of Jean Marie River says her community&#8217;s update, delivered in February, was a &#8220;very productive meeting.&#8221; &#8220;Previously they weren&#8217;t open to making any sort of agreement on working together, but now it&#8217;s looking very promising,&#8221; she said of negotiations with different levels of government.
