HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON – Haldimand\u00a0 Ontario Provinal Police (OPP)\u00a0 have arrested and charged a 29-year-old man with impaired driving\u00a0 after spotting a truck been driven erratically in Hagersville. OPP said\u00a0 on June 19, 2024, at about 10:55 p.m., the Haldimand OPP was on general patrol and\u00a0 \u00a0a pick-up truck came to the attention of the officer on Main Street in Hagersville.\u00a0A traffic stop was conducted and upon speaking with the driver, OPP said\u00a0 it became obvious they had consumed alcohol. The driver was\u00a0 placed under arrest, but OPP said\u00a0 immediately became resistant. The accused was subdued by officers and transported to the OPP detachment for testing.
