A vigil for the Wawakapewin First Nation man who police fatally shot in the park last week began at 2 p.m. \u201cThe reason why I\u2019m attending is because Mr. Bruce Frogg was an individual from a First Nation and the man was seriously in distress,\u201d said Ed Mandamin, the city\u2019s Indigenous relations adviser since June 3. \u201cWe want to go and commemorate his passing as a tragedy that shouldn\u2019t have happened,\u201d Mandamin continued. \u201cA lot of people that I\u2019ve been talking to \u2013 and that\u2019s Indigenous and non-Indigenous \u2013… <\/p>\n
