As of writing on July 22nd, the fire is still out of control \u2013 meaning it may grow beyond its current size of 39 hectares. But the fire is unlikely to impact the boardwalk trails within the park, according to a statement BC Parks sent to The Goat last Thursday. \u201cFire is a natural ecosystem process.
