It\u2019s joining\u00a0 more than 2,500 participants from hundreds of municipalities and organizations across Ontario\u00a0 at Ottawa\u2019s Shaw Centre from August 18 to 21 and among them will be a Six Nation Elected Council delegation. The conference allows municipal and provincial officials to discuss \u201cpressing challenges that extend beyond municipal resources and responsibilities,\u201d the city said in a statement. For Brantford among other issues it hopes to \u201cfoster a collaborative relationship with Indigenous communities.\u201d It says that can happen with \u201cmeaningful consultation and shared prosperity initiatives.
