Wednesday’s event featured a book reading, signing, and open conversation that underscored the pair\u2019s shared commitment to truth and reconciliation. Talaga, an Anishinaabe author and freelance columnist for The Globe and Mail, and Downie, co-founder of the Gord Downie and Chanie Wenjack Fund, engaged the audience with their reflections on The Knowing, Canada’s colonial history, and the path to healing.
